Finally, The Women Are The Main Event At WrestleMania!
News broke earlier today that for the first time in WWE history, the women would be the main event at WrestleMania. That’s right, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey will be headlining WWE’s biggest show of the year, for the #RAW Women’s Title.
After WWE’s push to show that yes, female wrestlers are taken seriously in WWE, they’ve finally done something that I am extremely excited for. Every single woman who has ever performed in WWF/WWE has made this happen. Just a few short years ago — in 2013 — the women were cut from the #WrestleMania card. It just goes to show you that things can change, and for the better.
This is probably the best thing WWE could have done, since Lynch is the best performer in WWE right now. Her promos are over the top amazing, she oozes charisma, and everyone loves a good underdog story. I’m also excited to see Flair in action too. She’s undoubtedly one of the best heels in the industry, and she’s a hard worker. The two of them can carry anyone in any match. Rousey isn’t too bad either, and thankfully she’ll be in a match with two of the best wrestlers in WWE.
I wasn’t excited for WrestleMania a week ago, but now I’m totally on board for it. Will you be watching WrestleMania on April 7th? Let us know in the comments below! Woo!
