The perfect 10 WWE Superstar signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2006, which he had a short run on the main roster from 2009- 2009. On the #ECW brand he was an undercard performer by the name of Gavin Spears. His main roster debut as Tye Dillinger came in the 2017 Royal Rumble match when he entered as the No. 10 participant. Since then WWE has arguably done nothing with Tye Dillinger.
If WWE grants Dillinger his release, it could mean AEW could gain another former WWE superstar.
AEW Executive Vice President #CodyRhodes and former OVW buddy tweeted the following in response to Dillinger’s announcement:
Fearless. I can’t wait to see what you do next. I wish you all the happiness in the world old friend.
Don’t settle. https://t.co/ZTcZtDiycf
