Charlotte Flair Accuses Becky Lynch Of Stealing Her Father’s Catchphrase “The Man”.
Charlotte Complains About Becky….Again
Man, this is getting old….Anyways…
Now, I am gonna start this article off with a recent tweet from Charlotte Flair:
Now, she says, “Legacy? You’re damn right.” – and then she babbles something about having to “carry” the legacy. In a recent interview with Planeta Wrestling, she went on to complain about how Becky Lynch stole her Father’s catchphrase…
“Becky tries to deflect the situation pretending that I’m the one copying her, when in reality, she’s the one, like you said (to the interviewer), copying my dad’s catchphrase!”
This is where I have to come in and mention a few things. Becky is calling herself “The Man” and saying things like, “In order to be the Man, you gotta beat the Man…”.
This was a catchphrase of Ric “Nature Boy” Flair, Charlotte’s Dad.
But, here is the thing…
Charlotte – Theme music is her Dad’s
Charlotte – Robe is (based on) her Dad’s
Charlotte – Her finishing move is a mixture of her Dad’s and her own
Charlotte – “WOOO!”, her battle cry, is her Dad’s
So, this is what I am picking up from Charlotte – She is cheesed off because Becky took the one thing that Charlotte FORGOT to rip off from her Dad.
If Charlotte had thought of it first, she’d be walking around with a shirt that says “The Man” and using Daddy’s catchphrase.
The fact is Becky called dibs on it first and Charlotte is all butt-hurt about it.
Charlotte has always said she wants to do this on her own, not to ride Daddy’s coattails, etc…
There, I had said my peace – Send your complaints to my Twitter account.
