The 2018 Survivor Series Is Shaping Up.
We are almost done with the 2018 and that means #SurvivorSeries is just about here. Also, we only have 2 pay per views left. The second being TLC in December. Since SS is coming up first how is this ppv looking? Let’s see if the event still lives up to the hype or if it’s a played-out theme.
So far, the matches are typical #Raw champions vs #SDLive champions and the Raw roster vs SD Live roster 5 on 5 tag match for the men and women. And I believe there’s a Raw tag team vs SD Live tag team 10 on 10 match which I don’t even know who they are going to get for that, but whatever. This event has pretty much always kept this kind of flow with champ vs champ and team vs team for bragging rights purposes. Over the years that has just turned to Stephanie McMahon proving to her brother Shane her lady balls are bigger than his.
Now if they did this once or twice, I wouldn’t mind it, but this crap has been going on for a long time. Pre WCW-invasion angle. At a certain point you’ve have to just give it a rest people. Yes, I know your dad owns the company and you have the say to do whatever they want, which is why Shane inserted himself into the World Cup. It was okay at first, now it’s just annoying. Like it’s seriously annoying. Me and my sister don’t even fight that much.
So that’s a downer for me. But then the matches seem promising. Seth Rollins Vs Shinsuke Nakamura. I’m excited for that match which is a pretty much a dream match. Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch has been proving to be a really good match. I’m predicting a no contest for this one just because neither woman should lose any momentum yet. It’s too soon for both of them. The bar vs AOP should be good. I don’t expect it to go south at any point. Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles again. Which was pretty much Brocks only good match in the past year. I’m hoping the same happens this year, but AJ takes the win. That’s very very high hopes I know. The full team hasn’t been named yet for Raws teams in the 5 on 5 matches and I don’t know how that’s going to go. I just see that going wrong somehow, I don’t know.
All in all, I’m thinking this should be a good show from the champion vs. champion matches alone. The elimination tag matches to me are a played-out idea. I’m personally just over it. I’m sure they can think of something new if they wanted to. Or maybe I’m giving too much credit to creative. I don’t want to get rid of the ppv, but give it something new to get me excited again.
