WWE Evolution Pay Per View Predictions.

WWE Evolution Pay Per View Predictions.

This Sunday is the women’s pay per view Evolution. Yes, it’s really upsetting that the build-up to this “Historical Event” was so underwhelming. I’m sure the matches will be good still and at the end up the day it’s really amazing if you look at how far women in wrestling have come. So, from this point on no more focusing on the negative and let’s look at the positive. The women are having their own PPV this Sunday. I will definitely be watching it. Looking at the card this seems promising to be a good event. In the spirit of a Pay Per View event let’s do some predictions. These are my predictions for #EVOLUTION.

Smackdown Women’s Championship Match: Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair (Last Woman Standing). I’m going with Becky Lynch to retain. Though WWE didn’t understand we want to cheer Becky as a baby face, I think they do understand what they have with Becky. Since her heel turn, she’s been on fire. She walks around like she owns the WWE, the fans, the arena, the staff, the tv were watching her on, the television network and everything else you can think of. Well, she does along with our hearts. I want to see her go on to WrestleMania as the champ and see what she can come up with next with the other women.

Raw Women’s Championship Match: Ronda Rousey Vs. Nikki Bella. I’m going with Ronda Rousey to retain. This is my second least favorite match on the card. I’m just not a fan of Nikki Bella and Rousey has the same matches over and over again. You already know what to expect here. I don’t think its Rousey’s fault. I think she hasn’t been in ring with any women that she can have a high-level match with. Their either all on Smackdown Live or being misused on Raw. She has been great and improved so fast in the ring. A match with Nikki seems to be a waste of Ronda’s talent. Sorry Bella Fans. So yeah that’s my rant about this match. What’s yours?

Trish Stratus & Lita vs. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James: While on one hand I would like to see Alexa Bliss go over here, I don’t think WWE will miss on capitalizing on the nostalgia factor here. Not that I’m mad at that at all. I loved watch Lita and Trish growing up. So, I’m going with Trish Stratus and Lita winning. Don’t think we’ll be seeing the last of them.

Sasha Banks, Bayley & Natalya Vs. The Riot Squad. To be completely honest I had absolutely no idea this match was happening until 10 minutes before writing this. This is a match I’m just wondering why it’s taking place. This is weird. You have 4 women here that should in some way, shape or form be in the title picture and yet they can’t even be put in a number 1 contenders match, but Nikki freaking Bella gets a shot why? Because I can’t think of a valid reason, but I digress. Banks, Bayley & Natalya to win.

NXT Women’s Championship Match: Kairi Sane Vs. Shayna Baszler. I’m going with Kairi Sane retaining. It came as a bit of a shock when Sane defeated Baszler at Takeover Brooklyn. I thought they were going to keep the belt on Baszler for a little bit longer. I actually haven’t kept up with NXT lately so I’m not sure how her reign is going. If anyone can let me know how she has been I would greatly appreciate that. This prediction is toss up for me so yeah Sane to win. I also think Shayna Baszler is on her way to the main card soon so that’s also a reason.

NXT UK Women’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley Vs. Isla Dawn. Rhea Ripley to retain. This is another toss up for me. This is the first title defense for Ripley. I think the match is going to be good either way it goes. Hopefully these 2 have time to show off a little bit.

Io Shirai Vs. Toni Storm (Mae Young Classic Final): I’m going with Toni Storm to win this. I get this feeling that they are building her up to be dominant and making it this far in the Mae Young Classic I’m almost definite about it. Then again, I am wrong a lot of the time.

Battle Royal: All I’ll say is if Ember Moon doesn’t win, I’m breaking my TV.

These are my predictions. Let us know what you think will happen at Evolution.
