If you have been watching for more than a minute, you might remember when they were separate and trying out their own gimmicks.
Bo Dallas, whose real name is, Taylor Rotunda, son of wrestling legend Mike Rotunda and brother to Windham Rotunda AKA Bray Wyatt and grandson to Robert Windham AKA wrestling legend, Blackjack Mulligan, tried out the ‘Bo-lieve’ gimmick as a happy go lucky and always mellow wrestler.
Curtis Axel, whose real name is, Joseph Curtis Hennig, son of Curt Hennig, better known as
‘Mr. Perfect’ and grandson to wrestling legend, Larry Hennig, tried out the tough as nails persona gimmick and it didn’t work for either of them.
I brought up their families is for this reason; they are NOT trying to ride the coattails of their family legacies, much unlike some superstars try to or have done.
They Do Not Need Any Help!
They are trying to make a name for themselves without any help, and that takes character.
Since they debuted as The B-Team, they have been undefeated in tag team matches and their respective singles matches.
Recently on RAW, Curtis Axel beat ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy in a singles match.
More to the future, they are going to be wrestling ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt for the RAW tag team titles at Extreme Rules on July 15, 2018
BUT – there may be a change in that dynamic.
On Friday, June 29, Bray Wyatt was in a serious car accident and the reports of the extent of his injuries vary. That is to say he could have a sprained wrist or a broken jaw, no one really knows.
As of publishing this article, they are still being listed to fight at Extreme Rules.
If things go as planned, will The #BTeam keep their undefeated streak against Hardy and Wyatt?
And if Wyatt is going to be out for an extended amount of time (as most websites are suggesting.) what will happen to the RAW tag team titles???
We shall see.
