The Huffington posted has a huge story regarding Amy Jane Mekelburg from Fishkill, New York who is married to WWE executive Salvatore “Sal” Sinno.
While there where many other names Huffington investigated, Amy Jane Mekelburg seems to be making the round with wrestling fans online today.
The twitter account reported that Amy Mekelburg was in control of sent out and retweeted anti-islamic views.
The Huffington Post reported “The company had reason to worry about Mekelburg’s Islamophobia. In the early part of 2018, the WWE and Saudi Arabia finalized a controversial 10-year deal to bring pro wrestling there. Siino was negotiating TV deals in the United Arab Emirates, according to the WWE. Back in Fishkill, his wife was casting Muslims as subhuman filth.”
#WWE denied knowing anything about the connection between Sal and his wife, the company responded with: “This is the first time we’re hearing about Amy Mekelburg.”
Mekelburg continued to spew hatred online despite knowing that her husband’s job was in jeopardy.
WWE was approached a second time this year and they responded saying: “Now that it has come to our attention, Sal Siino is no longer an employee.”
