As of 5/31/2018, WWE.Com has these matches listed for the Women’s matches for the #MITB PPV
There are 3 Women’s matches and 5 Men’s matches scheduled for that night.
The main MITB ladder match.
Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Lana, Naomi and Sasha Banks
Prediction: The winner will be one of two people.
Sasha Banks or #EmberMoon. It is obvious that WWE has been pushing Moon, but at the same time, they are trying to advance Banks’ character. Banks as of late has been rumored to be getting backstage heat, and that being said, she might lose to help push her into being a heel. Moon is an outstanding competitor and to see her get the MITB case would be the push she needs.
The wildcard winner would be #Lana – Yes, I said Lana. Reason being, as of late since Lana’s comeback, she has been getting a major push. Her winning this match could be the last step in getting her over with the crowd and (possibly) making her a babyface.
Nia Jax (RAW Women’s Champion) vs. ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey
Prediction: ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey
It would seem that Nia Jax is in transition of turning heel. Her stay as a babyface didn’t seem to last long, but, with Rousey on the scene, between the two, Jax HAS to be heel and Rousey HAS to be babyface.
Rousey will win the belt and this will create her first big rivalry in the WWE since her arrival.
No. I am not counting her spat with #StephanieMcMahon, that was merely her introduction.
Carmella (Smackdown Women’s Champion) vs. Asuka
To me, this has to be the biggest no-brainer prediction.
With all of Carmella’s talent, and she is a talented performer, it is time to give #Asuka a belt.
Carmella has been saying how she is better than Asuka (by proxy) since she beat Charlotte using her MITB contract. Although I wish they would put over Carmella in a positive way, they are making her character into a glorified cheerleader. Asuka, in her own right is a force to be reckoned with, so, unless Carmella finds a way to ‘cheat’, Asuka will take the strap.
That pretty much wraps up the Women’s matches and predictions.
