On this week’s episode of #SmackdownLive, Becky Lynch made Charlotte ‘The Queen’ Flair tap out by using her signature move, the Dis-Arm-Her.
After the match, Lynch and Flair shared a hug to show that there is/was no hard feelings between the two and Lynch posted on her twitter account that she thinks this is her year.
Here is the problem.
WWE writers have a tendency to set these things up only to knock them down.
Lynch is by far a fan favorite despite age or gender, but, she is a one on one ring fighter.
This victory against Flair is awesome, but, in a MITB match, she is going against seven other women and there is no pin fall or submission.
So, as rosy as this looks, keep in mind that at #MITB, her odds of winning have now fallen.
#BeckyLynch does have the potential to go on to being Champion, but, not thru a MITB match.
Since she started wrestling in 2002 and getting her WWE debut in 2015, she has shown she is a force to be reckoned with, but, sadly WWE has tried to make her the ‘geeky’ comic relief and has not been taking her status seriously.
Hopefully in the near future, she will be able to show everyone that she is a top in-ring performer and not as goofy as they are trying to make her.
