The gist of the exchange on the NBCUniversal red carpet event that also brought us the (relative) joy of Nia Jax’s challenge to Ronda Rousey can be summed up quickly: “I truly hope one day that we can work it out and get back together. I think there is hope.” Bella’s comments were wide-ranging and each network cherry-picked what they showed, with E! Network, broadcaster of TV show Total Bellas, being the most salacious, not holding back that Bella and Cena had only spent a few nights together over the last six months.
This power couple’s very public exchanges over the last few days seem perfectly poised to garner strong ratings for E! Network when Total Bellas season 3 premieres this Sunday at 2100 EST, which promises to show the wedding planning and breakdown. But this begs the question we thought had been buried: are fans being subjected to the longest ‘real-life’ work of all time?
